The Milton Century Club presented a check for $500 to assistance support a Home of a Brave’s latest initiative, a transitory home to accommodate a needs of homeless women veterans and their children. A new facility, Home of a Brave II, will be opening shortly in Milford to yield housing and services for adult to 8 womanlike veterans and children during a time.
The goal of a Home of a Brave is to revoke homelessness among a troops maestro population. In further to providing transitory housing, food and security, HOB assists with employment, conversing services, entrance to healthcare, travel and locating affordable housing.
As a women’s use organization, Milton Century Club members were fervent to minister to assistance womanlike veterans confronting homelessness. Nearly 600 veterans vital in Delaware are homeless any night. Of this number, about 30 are women veterans, some of whom have children.
